Learning
Topics and ideas that make me curious and encourage me to explore beyond what I already know.
About Me
This isn’t a résumé. It’s a snapshot of who I am right now — what interests me, what I’m good at, what I’m still working on, and how I want to grow.
I’m Adithya, a Grade 11 student. I am still discovering the ways of learning that work best for me and the subjects, ideas and experiences that interest me most. I’m still discovering what I’m good at, what challenges me and the kind of person I want to become.
I started this Growth Journal because I wanted a place to pause, look back at my experiences and understand what they are teaching me.
Topics and ideas that make me curious and encourage me to explore beyond what I already know.
Experiences that expose me to something new and give me a different way of looking at things.
Conversations and different viewpoints that help me think more carefully and understand others better.
Opportunities to try something unfamiliar, learn through experience and discover what I can improve.
Qualities I would like to recognise, practise and strengthen as I grow.
I want to understand why things work, not just know the answer.
I'm learning to take time to think before reaching a conclusion.
I'm working on taking ownership of the things I commit to.
I'm learning to respond better when plans or situations change.
I'm learning to keep going when something matters, even when it becomes difficult.
Areas where I know there is room to grow.
Doing the small things regularly instead of depending on occasional bursts of effort.
Learning to plan my time realistically and give important things the attention they need.
Becoming more comfortable expressing my thoughts clearly and confidently.
Taking time to think about experiences, write them down and learn from them.
These are values I want my choices and actions to reflect. This journal gives me a place to look back and ask whether I am actually living by them.
Looking Forward
I don’t have everything figured out yet, and I don’t think I need to.
I want to become more consistent, more confident in expressing myself, more independent and more willing to learn from mistakes.
I want this journal to show not only what I achieved, but how I changed, what I learned, what challenged me, and how those experiences helped me grow.
Growth is mostly quiet. It shows up later.
